Become A Composting Kid

Let’s hear from the kids

Riley

Age 10

By composting, we are creating a world for our friends, family and future children to live in. Help us create that world one corn cob or strawberry stem at a time!

Jack

Age 11

My favorite part of composting is helping the world by doing every day stuff. Like when I eat watermelon, I can compost the rind and then it doesn’t go in the landfill. Instead the compost creates new soil and a healthier earth. It’s really easy to compost with Kids That Compost!

Stella

I like Kids That Compost because it is saving the environment. Composting can help take methane gas out of the sky and help nourish gardens.

I compost to save our planet and to be able to use the same materials over and over again.

Jacey, 14, Upper Arlington

[My husband] and I like to encourage our daughters to speak about a good cause to educated people and be able to speak in their own words about something they believe in. This is also something that we can do as a family which our girls respond to well.

Deb, Parent Advocate & Curbside Subscriber, Short North

I feel really proud to take initiative in helping our environment thrive. My generation is the change needed to save our planet and I feel so proud of myself for stepping up and doing my part.

Emily, 15, Upper Arlington

[Kids That Compost curbside is] easy to do and creates a sense of responsibility in my children.

Sandra, Curbside Subscriber, Grandview
